Applications are invited for the position of St Peter’s 1st XV Coach for 2011.
St Peter’s College 1st XV has a proud history having won national titles and produced a number of top players. Over the past two years St Peter’s have been among the top four 1st XV's in Auckland.
The position offers a great opportunity for the successful applicant to coach at a high level in a fantastic competition.
Applicants should have coached rugby to a high standard and have a proven record.

Rugby Development Officer
Marist is one of Auckland rugby’s senior clubs, with a player base encompassing Marist BOBRFC, Tamaki RFC and Marist East. As one part of a major development programme aimed at making Marist the most successful and preferred club in Auckland Rugby we seek the services of someone who shares our passion for rugby to lead the development of the game in our feeder schools and within the club.
More specifically we want to :
- Work with our feeder schools to Increase playing numbers and skills, and help recruit and train administrative support
- Improve the retention of players from selected secondary schools into Marist teams
- Improve coaching skills across all grades of Marist teams
- Design and implement player development programmes
The incumbent will work closely with ARFU regional development coaches, primary and secondary school rugby administrators and Marist coaches and players,
The RDO will be required to have:
- A passion for rugby
- At least three years experience coaching rugby at College or Senior level
- Played rugby at senior level
- NZRU coaching qualifications to Level 2 or better
- A proven history of success in managing people, planning and processes
- Strong relationship and communication skills – verbal and written
- Be well organised and results oriented
A vehicle will be supplied as part of a competitive remuneration package.

- U 21
- U 19
- Restricted 85kg
- Women’s Premier
- Seven A Side Men
- Seven A Side Women
Hours: Long, from mid summer through to the end of the Club season
Remuneration: Nil but the rewards from working and socialising with people passionate about their rugby are huge
