After another strong showing for Auckland last year, Jay Williams made his debut for the Blues in 2009 and is relishing the opportunity of leading a young Auckland side forward this season.
He has previously captained Auckland's Development team to the national title, and has a wide range of skills to go with his height in the lineout and pace around the field.
