Tevita Mailau is a talented prop with the ability to play on both sides of the scrum.

Mailau faced a baptism of fire in his first match for the Blues against a mighty Bulls pack in Pretoria last year, but being thrust into the indimating cauldron of Loftus Versfeld proved to be his making as he has gone from strength to stength.

He performed with distinction for Auckland last year and has previously represented New Zealand Secondary Schools, Auckland Academy teams, and the New Zealand under-21s.
