2022 marks the centenary year for Mount Albert Grammar School and their 1^st XV will kick off their 1A season this Saturday against their historic rivals, Auckland Grammar School at BG Williams Field at 2:30pm.

Mt Albert Grammar School has a rich history in the 1A competition. The school opened in 1922 and the very next year, won their first 1A title. A total of 23 titles have come since then, four of which were shared with Auckland Grammar School.

MAGS and AGS will go head-to-head across various age grades throughout the day starting with their 2^nd XVs at 9.15am. The day will be filled will celebrations from past and present students with festivities following the 1A game.
