The Auckland Storm are back at home for round 6 of the Farah Palmer Cup presented by Bunnings Warehouse this Sunday 20 August when they take on Waikato who are sitting pretty at the top of the Premiership table.

With 18 points under their belts, Waikato top the Premiership ladder so far, just two points ahead of Auckland in third spot with 16 points. There is just one point separating the top three teams (Waikato, Canterbury and Auckland), while the Hawke’s Bay Tui lead the lower half of the table in fourth position - five points shy of Auckland.

Hosts Auckland enter the match off the back of an emphatic 37 – 10 win over the Counties Manukau Heat last Friday, while Waikato will come in well-rested after enjoying a bye in round 5.

The match will kick-off at 2.05pm at Colin Maiden Park and once again feature an exciting line-up of Black Ferns spread across both sides, with five in Auckland’s starting fifteen alone.

Storm winger Angelica Mekemeke Vahai has been named to start on the left wing after scintillating performances in round 4 and 5 which saw her score back-to-back hat tricks.
