Eden has topped off an impressive summer of sevens with the Middlesex County Sevens crown, the unofficial New Zealand Club championships.
Having claimed the Auckland Club Sevens title in November, Eden’s first premier title in 94 years, the team trained throughout summer in preparation for the tournament.
Eden went unbeaten throughout the tournament, with pool victories over Upper Hutt Rams 28-12, Ardmore Marist 21-0 and Awanui 21-12.
Day two of competition saw a quarter final victory 26-5 over Napier Tech before a semi-final repeat from the Auckland tournament, against Suburbs.
A solid 28-10 victory over fellow Auckland team in the semi finals set them up for a finals show down against Massey.
Leading 14-7 at half time, Eden went on to score two tries in the second half to win the final 26-7.
Ignacio Costa, Mosese Pepa and Max Leanna were all named in the tournament team.
By claiming the title, Eden will have hosting rights for the 2018 tournament.
